Our catering team is the exclusive provider for all catering on campus (food, beverage and alcohol services).
Placing an Order
To place your catering order, email email@example.com or call 780-497-5028. Your catering order should be placed no later than seven business days prior to your event.
MacEwan University departments may order online using the intranet portal.
For last-minute orders (less than three business days), contact our Catering Manager directly at 780-497-5028 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Paying for Your Order
Following your event, you have three days to express any issues or concerns to our catering manager. After this time, the credit card on file will be processed.
If Conference and Event Services coordinates your event, you will receive a consolidated invoice from the university, which includes all catering, space, services and rentals for your booking.
MacEwan University departments:
All catering services for internal MacEwan University events must be ordered and paid for using a MacEwan University Purchasing Card (p-card). Following your event, you have three days to express any issues or concerns to our catering manager. After this time, the credit card on file will be processed.
Our culinary team enjoys preparing custom menus and would love to create something unique for your event.
Please allow five business days for custom menus and quotes. Custom quotes are valid for 30 days.
All dining and food service tables for full meal functions are dressed in standard house linen. This also includes up to a maximum of three single tables with skirting and linen for registration tables.
Tablecloths required for non-food functions can be provided for an additional $5 per standard house tablecloth and $20 for skirting. Specialty linens will be priced at market value.
External catering orders are subject to a 15% service charge as well as 5% GST on service and labour charges.
Internal catering orders are subject to a 10% service charge as well as 5% GST on service and labour charges.
Cancellations received within seven business of your event will result in a charge of 50% of the estimated food total. Cancellations received after the final guarantee (three days prior), will result in a charge equal to the full order amount. For custom menus, where speciality items are required, cancellation after the item(s) have been ordered will result in a charge equal to the full order amount.
Guaranteed Numbers Policy
To ensure the success of your event, we require your guaranteed guest numbers and all special dietary requirements:
If your event has fewer guests than the guaranteed number, you will still be charged for the guaranteed number of guests you submitted to us. If the event has more guests than the guaranteed number, any additional meals provided will be posted to your account upon discussion with your on-site contact.
Last Minute Order Policy
In the event of a last minute order (3 or fewer business days before your event), our catering team will make every effort to accommodate your request, but substitutions or adjustments may be unavoidable.
